We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d) with fluent German and English (both written and spoken) who will provide 3rd level support for designated product group and support sustaining projects together with R&D, quality, and product management.

The responsibilities cover

• Provide global technical support to field service representatives for PerkinElmer Multimode Detection Systems
• Drive root-cause analysis for systematic field issues and be an active part in the continuous product improvement process
• Support new product introductions by providing critical input and evaluation of design-for-service
• Create supporting documentation to the field service organization: Service Manuals and Service Data BulletinsDevelop and deliver training through blended learning platforms including virtual and online classes, laboratory session and classroom lectures

• Conduct technical training courses for service engineers in the use of assigned product line/technology.

Requirements

• Completed BA degree in the scientific / technical field (biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology, electronic/mechanical engineering, etc.) or aligned experience
• First Experience with technical/application support would be an advantage
• Developed communication and presentation skills with ability to prepare and provide technical trainings
• Fluent English & German, both written and spoken
• Advanced skills in using MS Office
• Willingness to occasional travel (maximum 2-4 weeks per year)
