Manager International Affairs Sarah Niemann

New markets, new opportunities - having a strong international presence plays an important role for many companies in the life science sector in order to secure their long-term success. Partners in other regions can also be catalysts for the further development of products or services. The right contacts are of the essence.
From North Germany to the World:
Our Go2Market Support Program
The resource-intensive internationalization process can be very challenging, especially for smaller companies. As part of our Go2Market support program, we support our members in Life Science Nord e.V. on their way into new markets. The focus here is on individual support. Based on the respective needs, challenges and goals, we jointly identify suitable strategies and measures and help to build bridges to local partners.
We can draw on our strong partner network, which we have been able to build up in many regions of the world over the past few years. Our partner organizations have in-depth knowledge of the local ecosystems and can use their respective networks and expertise to help with internationalization projects.

Our worldwide partner network
Europa
Council of European BioRegions (CEBR)
CEBR is an association of around 50 European life science clusters spread across the geography of Europe. This permanent working group is an ideal starting point for finding points of contact in other European countries or even for seeking cooperation partners for projects. In the European spirit: Together we can do more!
Medtech Cluster Alliance D-A-CH
The Medtech Cluster Alliance D-A-CH is an informal association of networks in the medtech sector from German-speaking European countries. The aim here is networking, exchange and knowledge transfer. The alliance is a bridge to partners in German-speaking countries.
Nordic Virtual Office
A new strategic collaboration between life science clusters from Northern Europe and the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) is set to open new pathways for companies to engage with the UK’s healthcare and research ecosystem. Life Science Nord, along with life science organisations from Copenhagen, Lund, and Oslo have come together to launch the Nordic Virtual Office: a joint initiative designed to provide companies in these regions with direct access to the NIHR and opportunities for collaboration with the NHS and leading UK-based researchers.
