EquipNet’s work focuses on helping organizations make better use of equipment throughout its lifecycle. As laboratories and manufacturing facilities grow, relocate, consolidate, adopt new technologies, or change research priorities, equipment needs to change with them. EquipNet helps companies determine the best next step for those assets, whether they can continue to be used internally, find a new home elsewhere, or be managed responsibly at the end of their useful life.

Joining Life Science Nord is a natural extension of thier work in Europe. Northern Germany is home to a diverse community of pharmaceutical and biotech companies, medical technology organizations, research institutions, start-ups, and other life science organizations, many of which EquipNet already partner with. Across Europe, EquipNet supports major life science companies including Bayer, Teva and Novartis, giving them the experience required to work with changing equipment needs of large, complex organizations and small start-ups alike.

“Through our membership, we hope to contribute our experience in equipment lifecycle management while developing a deeper understanding of the priorities and challenges facing organizations across the region.” – Eva-Maria Traut, EquipNet Territory Sales Manager DACH.
