TANDEM - Technology and Engineering in Medicine
TANDEM is the competence centre for medical technology in northern Germany and, as a joint institution, brings together the medical technology departments of the University of Lübeck, the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences and the University Medical Centre Schleswig-Holstein. In the third phase, TANDEM will act as a cross innovation centre in several cooperation projects with industrial partners, transferring technologies from other sectors to medical technology and from other sectors to medical technology. TANDEM combines basic research with application orientation and clinical know-how through broad expertise, many years of experience and geographical proximity. Our team works closely together in a friendly, creative atmosphere. Thanks to the diversity of our partners and their in-depth experience, almost all aspects of medical technology are addressed.
CoSA - Center of Excellence
The CoSA competence centre has been researching and developing communication systems, distributed systems and their applications for more than 10 years. The centre successfully supports regional partners in industry in joint research and development projects, including in the fields of medical technology and artificial intelligence.
