TALENTready: Hamburg clusters strengthen Hamburg companies in the competition for skilled workers
Companies in Hamburg are struggling with the same problem across all industries: a shortage of qualified skilled workers. Attracting, developing and retaining employees has long been a decisive competitive factor – especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This is exactly where TALENTready comes in.
The Hamburg-based project supports SMEs with data-driven, digital and AI-supported approaches to secure their skilled workforce for the future. The cross-cluster TALENTready project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The focus is on practical, application-oriented solutions throughout the entire skilled worker life cycle – from recruitment and development to employee retention. The first step is a comprehensive analysis of the current challenges in the participating industries. Based on this, digital HR tools are identified, evaluated and specifically prepared for use in SMEs. The spectrum ranges from AI-supported recruiting and data-based personnel planning to innovative concepts for personnel development and retention. All measures are developed in close cooperation with companies and HR managers – user-centred, iterative and practical.
TALENTready is closely linked to Hamburg's skilled labour strategy and the Hamburg Regional Innovation Strategy. Through the targeted use of digital technologies, the strengthening of SMEs and the active networking of key players, the project is making an important contribution to preparing Hamburg's economy for the working world of tomorrow – digital, networked and human.
